Stainless braided fuel line

I have seen motorcycle papers with stainless braided brake lines noted in the papers. I assume that means I can't fit braided hoses on brakes without paperwork from the supplier, is this correct?

I am replacing some flexible rubber fuel pipes on a veteran status car, and using 10 bar working pressure DIN 73379 approved flexible hose, but for not much more I could use similar with a stainless overbraid, which meets or exceeds the 10 bar rating. It is pipework at the rear underside of the car near the tank. The car had some replacement hose with a nylon overbraid which was leaking at a fitting. It is going to cause a problem at MFK time using the hose with a stainless overbraid?
