Oil Change - What to do With the Old Oil?

Hi All,

My motorcycle is due for an oil change, and I'd like to take care of it myself. The first time, I had a mechanic do it, but it got too expensive. Fortunately, I have the tools and a place to do the work, but I'm not sure what to do with the old oil.

Does anyone know what types of places accept used motor oil?

The community you live in (Gemeinde) has a collection place for old oil (Altölsammelstelle). Whenever I do an oil change I take my old oil there. Check out the website of your Gemeinde.
