Motorrad/Scooter Repairs

Hi All. So we just took our Piaggio for its "check up" and we need to have a few things fixed:

1. Back break checked (replaced if necessary)
2. New back tire
3. Engine cleaned and leak repaired (if necessary)
4. Fix the spedometer (it doesn't work at all) - isn't there a wire which is probably not connected, can I find this wire myself and reconnect it?

Can anyone recommend a good repair shop in central Zurich? Any one have ANY idea how much it will cost?

Thank you in advance.

Dana

Good luck.

I use Fontana on Sonneggstrasse, near the best Falafel stand in town

Friendly, affordable and been in the business for donkeys years. Recommended.

Re: Motorrad/Scooter Repairs

Thank you Uncle Max, I took it to Fontana and was eventually pleasantly surprised. The first time I took it to have the engine cleaned and went to the examination point afterwards and it didn't pass the engine wasn't cleaned... I was soo mad... I went back to Fontana in the best German possible told them the problem, they apologized, fixed and it and took it to the examination point themselves and we got the stamp on our registration card.. whew.. they made up for their mistake and will definately go back for any more repairs. Highly recommend them, however they do not speak English so it helps to have someone who speaks English to call first.

Re: Motorrad/Scooter Repairs

In Bern little bit away from city there is good shop who is bit inexpensive because 10 km away from city. But good quality .
Motorcycle dealer in Kirchlindach
Service options: In-store shopping
Address: Leutschenstrasse 1, 3038 Kirchlindach

Phone: 031 829 24 57.

But for bigger works in engine I am looking for some near border in Italy where i think there are more mechanics available and bit more affordable.
Any suggestions
