My situation is slightly unusual and I wonder if anyone can provide some clarity.

I have just split up with my ex and have moved out. I have given her the car but I need a new car. Either leasing or buying is fine. I am still registered at the old address in Zurich.

If I go for leasing or buying and use the old address, will there be any problem? I will predominantly be parking in another canton. Will I have to buy a blau zone permit for Zurich? I suspect not. I think I only have to pay for the insurance and Zurich road tax. Just trying to see if there will be any obvious issues.

When you go for a lease and eventual registration of the car,
they will look at the address on your residence permit.

As far as parking goes, I lease a parking space. This part is
up to you.

Thought as much - so it is quite straightforward until I relocate to a new Canton and have to reregister again.
