Only for this week,i have to park around lowenstr. for about 4 to 4 1/2 hours,and unfortunaly i cant take the train.In the mornings,its so hard to find a parking place around there and i dont know the area well so,do u guys have any good parking spot suggestions? (relatively cheaper cuz i dont wanna give like 30 franks for 3 hours of parking :P )5-10 mins walk to the spot should be ok for me also.

Can you park on the outskirts of Zurich & train in from there or do you need to drive all the way in?

I once saw a parking space in that area, but it's probably gone by now.

If price is no object, try Jelmoli's car park. Also, there is a small underground garage at the top of Lowenstr. last (or next to last) road on the right.

Otherwise coming from Wallerau, try the longterm 50rp/hour car park opposite SwissRe on the lake at Mythen-Quai, then take a tram...

Unfortunately Lowenstr is a "premium" area and it's pretty much impossible to beat the system. If it was possible someone had already done it thus making it impossible -if you know what I mean
The new big underground car park by Sihl (dunno the name but behind lowenstr.) is expensive but the ticket is valid for all Zurich city public trax during the parking period. For two people.
