| | Zurich area:Audi/BMW dealer recommendations
If anyone has a "friendly" sales person in the Zurich area for BMW/Audi cars I'd appreciate a personal reference. The sales rep at the dealer I deal with seems not to be bery eager to win my business.
Thanks in advance.

I can only recommend BMW Niederlassung Dielsdorf.
I have been to another 3 BMW dealers, simply TERRIBLE.

Hi Guys
Sadly im going to have to take my M3 back to Blighty and sell her, cant be arsed with the madness of changing things over and passing the swiss clean, MOT, blah blah blah, then changing back in a few years when heading home..
So my question is, lease or buy over here ?? rather lease but cant find naff all on web.
I agree about some BMW dealers, in UK they will snapp your hand off for a deal and treat you accordingly...

Very professional, speaks very good english, a pleasure to deal with.
Most important is that the people in this dealership listen to what the customer has to say.
You can say to Mr. Tokarski that Alexandros with the M3 CSL recommended them, he knows me ;-)

Last time I went shopping for a BMW ( in 2003) I found exactly the same - most just couldn't care etc.
But then I tried Auto-Graf in Mielen http://www.autograf.ch/. Michael/Michel? Graf dealt with me - stayed late while I got there, went through everything and every option very seriously, no sales talk, took his time even though after hours etc.
Great experience, and I bought the car.

Re Auto Graf, Meilen - do yourself a favour and give them a miss with a ten metre bargepole. We've had more than one really bad experience with their service dept - last time, the manager ended up shouting at me and my wife. A great example of Swiss trying to cover their tracks/mistakes by claiming "you are wrong" and "we know better than you" - manifestly FALSE on both accounts. Now, we just AVOID permanently. BMW Dielsdorf, now 'Hedin' (taken over recently by the big Swedish group of the same name), know what they're doing, will do it properly, and are pleasant - all of which is beyond Auto Graf.

We had a company car through Auto Graf, no problems, but when we actually tried to buy an X3M the sales guy ( who sold us the X1 company car through work) tried to flog me an X3 he had just taken to Italy on holiday...full of kids crap and filthy.
Ended up buying the car from Heidegger in Triesen, Liechtenstein, excellent service and used them for all servicing. Will definitely buy the next car from them...But then we do get a huge discount from the wifes company. :-)
Also used the dealer in Wetzikon for a repair..no issues with them either.
Have to say, the quality and standard of salemanship in Switzerland is pretty appalling....very misogynistic too, as the breadwinner it infuriates the wife.

I am sure the OP has found a competent dealership in the 11 years since this question was asked.

My two pennyworth, I would recommend Andreas Triebel @ zbinden ag hägendorf BMW near Olten. Very friendly and enthusiastic guy who continually apologises for his poor English despite being pretty good. He's also pretty handy with the configurator, telling you what you don't need to keep to whatever budget you set.

I can recommend the one in Adliswil.
Very friendly, nice fleet of cars when yours is being repaired and they sometimes invite you to events, brunches etc.
