Driving Lessons VW-in English

Hi, my name is Iain and I've been in Zurich a couple of years having moved from London, I havn't been driving for ages but I need to start again.

I've got a driving licence from the UK and I know I need to get a Swiss one, and I know about the eye test and where to get the new licenece.

What I'm looking for is an english speaking driving instructor preferably local to Kreis 3 or 2 (or at least willing to pick me up from there). Idealy someone who teaches with a VW as that's the car I will be driving.

Thanks in advance

Iain

Or you can try this http://www.fahrlehrervergleich.ch/index.php. Handy website showing the individual Fahrschule prices, language, type of cars etc...Make a few calls. Good luck!

Re: Driving Lessons VW-in English

I swapped my english DL to Swiss after 4 years. Did an eye test and filled in a form stating I had been driving my girlfriends car within the last 2 years.

1 or 2 refresher lessons just to get used to driving on the right is probably a good idea though.
