SBB's Gleis 7 card on ZVV

Hi, I have a Halbtax and Gleis 7 card. Question is, can I use the gleis 7 card on ZVV network(tram and bus) after 7pm everyday?

According to the SBB website

Within the ZVV region the Gleis 7 is only valid on SBB, SOB and Thurbo lines.

http://www.gleis7.ch/?tkw=gleis7

so it is only valid on the trains not the trams and buses.

No buses and trams, not all trains either.

Also not on all trains. The SZU trains (including the S4 and S10) are excluded from Gleis 7.

Re: SBB's Gleis 7 card on ZVV

They sent you a little map when you received your Gleis 7 that shows exactly which routes are covered and which trains are not. Some cities accept it (three or four, places like Sion if I remember correctly), most do not.

The Track 7 travelcard is also valid for the nighttime network, but only on S-Bahn trains. You still have to buy a ZVV night supplement.

Always be careful when taking info from old posts on any subject. The rules may have changed.

Superedit has the right idea by giving the link - if the rules change, either the link no longer works or it will give the up-to-date version.

Re: SBB's Gleis 7 card on ZVV

so, the idea is the following. if you have the gleis 7 card and you use ZVV then, after 19

on trams and buses:
regular 1/2 ticket + night supplement (after midnight/1 am)

on trains
regular trains* (not SN): free
night trains (SN): no normal ticket, just night supplement

*I don't know anything about S4 and S10 line, and I couldn't find any info about it. just refer to the companies owning the trains, as stated in this other source (german)
http://www.gleis7.ch/abos/gleis7/
Quote:
