oversized load

Anyone know the rules on thsi?
I need to transport a big couch and it would stick out about 1.5 meters out the back with he truck open.
Is this legal in Switzerland and on Highways? Id be safe meaning tightened and such, it would simply hang out

Re: oversized load

You should be fine as long as you hang something yellow and refelctive off the end to make it visible to drivers warning them of the danger.
