VW Golf Papers

Just got a new Golf with French manuals.

I can order English ones for 100CHF but wondered if I could find some .pdf documents on the interweb instead.

Anyone know good resources for VW paperwork online?

Thanks, James.

I gather it is a Mk 6 Golf you have if it is brand new?

You generally you will be able to pick then up on E-bay UK (ask seller before bidding what they would charge for postage) but you have to keep looking:

I assume that you asked your dealer. Our VW dealer provided them free of charge when we got our Multivan. If you have asked, I've got nothing useful for you. Sorry.

i wonder if there may be a problem because i have a CH spec car and maybe there's a difference between English papers for a CH car and English papers for a UK car, if you know what I mean.

You might keep getting in the wrong door if you read the UK manual too carefully.

Yes. The car was already ordered when I though about language of the manual. So I think the cost is for additional english papers as well as the already ordered french papers (which were detailed as an item for 0CHF).

well of course there are obvious differences, but as far as i could tell i can't find a car from the uk that's specced the same, but maybe it's just a terminology thing.
