One way vehicle rental from DE to CH

I'm moving from Frankfurt to Zurich this weekend. Need to rent a vehicle.

I've found some possibles but it means driving down 430km, back up again the next day to return, then train back to Zurich. Not to mention the whole physical removal/packing/unpacking/border control effort. It eventually occurred to me to look into a one way rental.

I tried a couple of majors (Sixt, Europcar) and found that Europcar quoted 304 euros/day for a VW Touran. Is that very high or to be expected? Only need it for 2 days.

I thank you.

EDIT: I figured it out. 1 way inside Germany is around rent plus 10-20 euros rather than 4 times the rent to drop in Switzerland. So I'm going to return it to the nearest border location on the German side.

Re: One way vehicle rental from DE to CH

Hi,
Check out www.billiger-mietwagen.de , I used them couple of times and was satisfied.
They are a broker of big companies (Europcar, Avis etc), but due to the business model they can offer lower prices for the same service.
