Driving to Zurich in the morning from UK

Okay im on my way over, have satnav and a one way ferry ticket to oblivion. One err question, what should i have on me for Toll booths along the way? Does my Visa debit work, or is it Mastercard or do you keep a fistfull of euros to hand?
Anything else i need to know on border crossings?

Once i enter Switzerland do i have to pay this motorway permit thing?

Not sure about the tolls but I guess you will need Euros. When you get to Switzerland you will need to get the Autobahn permit or you risk a fine. Have a safe journey.

Visa debit cards work fine for the French tolls. Much easier than cash.

If you enter Switzerland by Basel, they usually make you buy the Motoroway vignette there and then. 40CHFs.

Have a good drive. Was going to do the same myself tomorrow but sold the car and got a flight. Have a safe journey.
