Re: Easyjet tip

i haven't booked yet simply because i don't know if and when we would travel. I was comparing prices for possibly may or sometime in the summer. It was only only about 15 chf per ticket, but when buying 4 tickets thats a significant saving!

Re: Easyjet tip

If I try this trick with basel to Edinburgh and back for leaving on the 23rd and back on the 30th it costs 30CHF MORE.

So best to check the conventional and the middle finger to the system way.

Re: Easyjet tip

Is this legitimate? Because I just checked flights from Geneva to Sharm El Sheik (where we've been thinking about going) and back using the method, and there was a difference of CHF 595 for 4 tickets! If this works for us, I'm sending you a CASE of beer, adrianlondon!

Re: Easyjet tip

I was worried a bit at first as well. But you are paying whatever the easyjet site asks you too. So its ok. Its not your fault that there is a small bug. But be carefull because it can change from one day to another. I found the savings one day and when i went to book the next day they were gone Only 25chfs but still...

Re: Easyjet tip

Thanks Adrianlondon for the great tip. It still works. We booked a flight with Easyjet to Edinburgh today and saved a whopping £70.
You have definitely earned a beer from me - I dont know if anyone else has actually ever came through and bought you one!
PM me, if you want to take me up on the offer some time.

Re: Easyjet tip

70 quid! Nice one. No, no one else has bought me a beer yet; probably cos at Swiss prices it'd cost more than they saved ;) And there was a guy who promised me an entire crate of beer. Still waiting for that one, too ;) I'll probably have Stelios turning up and stealing them from me.

I'm a NASA astronaut, just got cut from the last Endeavor mission and am short-listed on any emergency flight if we need to resupply the space station in future. Booking from England and then canceling didn't do squat for me. You therefore owe me a beer dude.

I got one waiting for you at the ISS although I was told they're having difficulty keeping it fizzy.

Re: Easyjet tip

Just booked a return flight to Spain. Saved £40! I used my otherwise-totally-useless Visa Electron card, too. I'm buying myself a beer

My wife has one of them. They sent her a regular visa debit which she conveniently didn't activate.

The visa electron expires soon though

Re: Easyjet tip

I've just bought an Easyjet ticket to replace a Swiss one, to go to London next week.
What I hadn't realized with Swiss, in my case, is that if you buy their cheapest ticket to London and need to change the outgoing flight, you cannot then use the return flight. You need to buy a whole new return ticket.
At least with Easyjet you can change a flight, at a cost, but I've often found it cheaper to buy a whole new ticket.
I'll certainly be using Adrian's tip in the future.
