| Do not bother with the translator (nobody's allowed in the car, only you and the instructor anyway).
Just print a table (left/right/stop/go ahead) in both languages (use Google Translate) and stick it on the dashboard before the instructor.
This is exactly how I did it - he is there not to check your language, but your driving skills!!! | |

Having a license for over 10 years and more than 500k km driving I am only afraid of old habits (nothing dangerous of course) not approved or liked by the instructor. Failing once and going through driving school is really no fun.
Reading advices on the forum made me think that maybe I should take 1-2 lessons from a driving school just to point me out what I need to be more careful during the exam and what instructors like me to do during my driving.
They gave me a sheet of paper explaining what the exam will be like, it seems they want to see every aspect of my driving except parking.
