COURSE BLS NHK (Nothilfekurs Basic Life Support)

LANGUAGE
English

COURSE AIMS
- Gain more security in handling emergency situations.
- Learn to master simple situations on your own.

In four lessons (total 10h) you learn the most important first aid measures for emergencies (Basic Life Support). The main subjects arew the following:
- Action in an emergency
- Recovery position
- CPR (Cardio Pulmonale Reanimation)
- How to handle an AED (Defibrillator)
- Severe and minor bleedings, Amputation
- Head injury
- Spinal injury
- Seizures
- Burns
- Swallowed poisons, shock

CERTFICATE (Nothilfekurs-Ausweis)
To recieve the nationwide recognized Swiss-Certificate, all the lessons (total 10h) have to be visited in order. This Qualification is needed for learner / driving licence or various other licences throughout Switzerland.

Required a minimum of 8 participants per course.

We completed the course last night at 10.15pm.

Your sons brought in a lot of fun and laughter to the class. There are other courses in English at Samariterverein Thalwil eg AED that are offered with a discount within the 6th month window. They need a minimum of eight to organise a course in English.

The Samaritervereine now offer the Nothilfekurs digitally in part, initially in Wauwil LU and nationwide from 2013.
