i need help.

i need to pick up a customer at zurich hauptbahnhof with my car, but have no clue if there is a parking available... and, another issue is, this customer cannot walk long distance, and so i will need to park very very close to the station.

does anyone know if there is a parking spot around the station, or any suggestion appreciated.

Yes, there are some parking slots right on the station - limited in time to something like 15 mins so you have to get your timing right.

Try at Kasernenstr. 95, Sihlpost good luck if during rush hour.

Or on the other side of the mainstation, right next to the Landesmuseum are parking spaces too, it's right under the police station. Might be the best and shortest-walk solution.

There is a telephone number to call 24 hours in advance, to ask for (Free) assistance on the station. I can't find it but here is the web page

These volunteers would probably "deliver" the person to you at the short term car park.

What about parking far away and picking your friend up in a taxi?

Saturday around noon is probably the busiest time of the week for downtown Zurich. You can expect to be in a traffic jam on your way to the station. If the person you pick up is disabled (and has an official document that proofs it), you can surely use the disabled parking places next to the station?

Only if the disabled parking card is displayed when you leave the car!
