Google's Self-driving robot cars.

Are these among us in Zürich as well? I'd like to see them deal with pedestrian crossing stripes.

Apparently they've driven about 140 000 miles in the San Fransisco area already.

Surely they can't be as bad as woman drivers ?

Took long enough! When I was a little kid in the 80s, I had a book on future transportation that was published in the 1950s. In it, it said we'd have self driving cars by 1990. I've been patiently waiting for 20 years, damnit.

ha! You will be waiting *at least* another 8 for them to become a reality/commercially available. And I am being optimistic with that number. If you read this article, you will see that they are saying the same thing.
