The Tageskarte by the Gemeinde - does it cover the kids ?

did you know your local gemeinde offers a day pass for all transport (bar planes) for 35 CHF - just go to the site and click on the link - its fairly obvious...

my question is does anyone know whether your kids can go free like with a halbstx?

If you have the family card, then yes they go free.

Your Gemeinde ticket is a full ticket for the day. The SBB sell one too, I think its Fr 66 with the halb-tax

And if they are under 6 they don't need a ticket.

Sorry! Is it GA reservation?

Do you need the Halbtax to use it or if you have a halbtax are you better using the halbtax instead of the Tageskarte?

Note, you can buy these tickets from other communities - not just the one you live in. Though your home community is the cheapest. With some, you can buy the ticket online and they'll mail it to you.

Re: The Tageskarte by the Gemeinde - does it cover the kids ?

I would like to buy some tickets, but I might need to buy it not online (since it takes them some time to deliver the tickets, and it might happen to short) - can I buy it somewhere not online?

Re: The Tageskarte by the Gemeinde - does it cover the kids ?

Bear in mind that there are only a certain number of tickets available each day - if you leave it too late to buy them, they might all be gone (especially if you want them for a weekend).

Re: The Tageskarte by the Gemeinde - does it cover the kids ?

Not sure - you could try going to your Gemeinde offices. When I ordered them online, they didn't post them to me - I had to go to the Gemeinde within 3 days to pay for them and collect them.

Re: The Tageskarte by the Gemeinde - does it cover the kids ?

I believe I can buy the tickets not only in my Gemeinde. Oerlikon and\or Zurich Affoltern could fit - but I could not find the location on the web.

How far in advance can I buy tickets? Is it just for the dates shown on the website or can I get later ones - maybe from the office?
