Re: The Swiss Canton challenge

I seem to be able to do it in under 100 sec pretty consistently, but I still haven't broken 80.

The trick is to get St. Gall and Bern into place, and then Uri, afterword you can just play whatever your mouse is closest to, and not be lost.

The other thing is that you have to be pretty accurate in placement, which slows things down a bit.

Na ja ... 880 sekunden. I never realised that so many cantons were smashed to smithereens. I knew Solothun was, but there are so many more!

Thanks, jrspet, that was educational!

And what is that left behind tiny white area in the east? Liechtenstein?
Yes, Liechtenstein. I spent a while trying to squeeze Jura into it.

Re: The Swiss Canton challenge

Practice makes perfect. The first time I did it it took over 1200 seconds. On my third try it was only 345. I assume "Na ja" is Swiss-German for "Not bad"?

Nope, it's german for 'oh well', insinuating 'you could do better'.

Re: The Swiss Canton challenge

You can also put the bezirks into the cantons - that was simple - 70 sec for bern and 90 sec for Zuri. But then you also have to fit the little wapens or shields into each bezirk. Yeah right.... 300 sec for zuri.

Re: The Swiss Canton challenge

239 seconds first time, when I didn't realise there was a time limit ... 113 seconds the second time.

I also lost BS (appropriate abbreviation!) off to one side, took me a while to locate it ...

Re: The Swiss Canton challenge

608 secs! Aff... I think my (non-)skills in Puzzles might have been the responsible for most of my failure though.
