The Swiss Canton challenge

All you have to do is drag and drop the 26 cantons into their correct places on the map of Switzerland. You’re helped a little bit by the two-letter code for each canton appearing as you move the mouse over its outline – for example, BS is Basel Stadt and VD is Vaud

Taught me a lot of geography ... 1248 seconds with a bit of cheating.

It helps to stare longingly at maps of CH for months on end... ;)

Spent a bit of time on the site: GeoPuzzles, did the Countries of Europe and the US States puzzles. Slow, but did both completely without peeking into an atlas :D

Oh boy, this is going to be embarrassing ...

Na ja ... 880 sekunden. :msnblush: I never realised that so many cantons were smashed to smithereens. I knew Solothun was, but there are so many more!

Thanks, jrspet, that was educational!

376 seconds. I cannot recognize a single canton by its shape. And I had no idea so many of them are split into pieces.

ETA.
For the U.S., my result of 313 seconds got the result, "Awesome! That was quick!"

Re: The Swiss Canton challenge

95 second time around (no interruptions).

Over 800 seconds, :msntongue: not knowing it was a timed thing. And I only did it by matching shapes of borders, hahaha. Jrspet, thanks for improving my Geog by a wee bit.

And what is that left behind tiny white area in the east? Liechtenstein?

I did not see the America puzzle before, but just tried it and got 324. Not bad, when I only ever was in US, when I was 2 years old.
