Hi all:

I would welcome any advice on how to find out about activities in the Zurich area. Are there any social groups out there where people get together and do fun things? For example, visit interesting places, learn to ski, do cultural activities, barbeques, whatever?

I have lived in the area for about a year, but I'm not having a lot of success in meeting people and getting a life! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

There is an EF social calendar that lists all current events, click it at the top of the forum. Also check out Glocals.ch. I think there's one other site too called swissmeetup or something.
