I loved the place, actually, I miss it. It's not good to mom a wee baby there, no day care nor work, no friends to swap sitting with and had to take 5hr train commute back and forth to UniGe as prego, it was a nightmare. But aside of that, fabulous. I wish I had somebody to hike there with, the hills around are spectacular, and the train from YVD to Ste Croix was really nice. Last year I hiked the tallest hill there with work, that was cool. The resto du pont in the village is really nice, I rode sleds with some friends there, too, it was fun. Have to return to pick mushrooms and bluberries, yay.

If you come over, would love to meet up for a walk- I'm not far at all. Chasseron is indeed a wonderful mountain to hike up, with a good resto at the top and amazing 360 views of the plain, Alps and Jura.
