Easter week - Genoa or Cinque Terre

Which would be better to visit for 5 days to a week with kids? I read up about Genoa but it doesn't come very highly recommended.

Thanks for any tips.

Re: Easter week - Genoa or Cinque Terre

Genoa is very interesting for an adult. Cinque Terre has stony beaches.

Go a bit further south and you will find sandy beaches. Massa is cheaper than Forte dei Marmi

It is well worth avoiding the Gotthard at Easter!!! Go via the Grand Saint Bernhard, near Martigny,
a tunnel with a Toll, but well worth it!!

Good stopping place, http://maps.google.ch/maps?hl=de&q=l...ed=0CB0Q8gEwAA
