Just booked 2 flights with continental to washington

..took forever to do as they are merging with United.

Anyway i have booked for me and a friend and they have taken the money for his flight (two days ago) and not for me. All my details are there and i can check in etc but should i phone them up and explain.

Or gamble thinking ive got away with it and either get a free flight ... or more likely stuck in Geneva

How did you book the ticket, directly with the airline?
Over the phone, or line? Were both of you booked
on the same credit card?

Perhaps your credit card doesn't show pending charges/
authorizations?

Check with the credit card company if there are any charges in the authorization/pending state. Or sometimes you can see it online with
a lower available credit amount on your card.

Re: Just booked 2 flights with continental to washington

I once booked a flight online with Swiss and the charge still hadn't gone through on the day of the flight! Although there was only a few days in between I was paranoid until we checked in.. lol Also I remember with United they are pretty slow. As long as you have your e-mail confirmation you should be fine, and keep an eye on your bank balance.
