March Hares

Being an anorak I was listening to a podcast of BBC nature prog in the car yesterday. they were discussing hares and their activity at this time of year. Does anyone know a good place to go watch jumping hares near basel?

Re: March Hares

No idea..if you can't find them feel free to swing by my place, ill let my two run around the house all day anyway

I've seen one or two hares in the fields right beside the train tracks, ( between Brugg and Basel) .. but more birds there then hares..

Loads of Falcons 5 min away from here, lovely to see them flying by, great bird..

Re: March Hares

I imagine they should be quite common around the Jura in particular. Their favoured habitat is open farmland with a variety of vegetation.
