Re: Nan (84yrs) is coming for a visit.....Hilfe!

I don't know your area very well, so'll leave to others. Just wanted to say how impressed I am that you are taking all this care to make your grans visit extra special. Have a fab time. Bravo.

Yuff of today, hey

The nicest thing about having visitors is having the opportunity to do things tourists do. I hope you have a memorable visit with your Nan.

Thanks Odile! I have found a Golden tour thingy in Lucerne. Involves boat trip, train trip and mountain trip! I can't wait to see her. Especially as once she turns 85 it's almost impossible to organise holiday insurance for her so don't know if she'll ever be able to visit again. :-(

arrghh, if you were nearer I'd love to invite you for tea - but I am just too far. Enjoy her stay with you.

Ok guys,

Had this lovely trip to Luzern planned, a scenic drive up Weissenstein.. Maybe even some strawberry picking....

And its bl**dy forecast to rain/ be cloudy!!!!! What on earth am I going to do? Nan, Aunt and Uncle arrive tomorrow. The weather looks better this weekend in the UK.

Sad and in slight state of Panic!!!!

Does your grandmother like old trains, boats and planes?

Has she ever been to an IMAX cinema?

The Tages Anzeiger has a reasonable forecast for the weekend. Saturday looks a bit damp but Sunday seems to be the better day.
