I could never understand the concept of flinging yourself of a perfectly stable platform with a just a piece of elastic to keep you alive. I rate it right up there with parachuting; unless the plane is going to crash, I see no reason for jumping out of it, thank you very much.

It's a great jump. It was also my first bungee jump, and I survived just fine. You might want to reserve a spot, because if the weather's nice, there can be a long line. Friendly staff. A lot of gawking tourists too.

I did it. Makes me nervous just thinking about it! Even though I probably wouldn't do it again, I'm glad I did it. What an experience.
