Re: Bungee Jumping

You do realize that it's 220m high?

You really want to do that for your first jump?

It's the best option really, the highest you can go on your first jump the better.

I did 134m because that is what is available to me, Now when you jump again, you are already prepared for the feeling you get when you hit the point of no return on the jump.

Re: Bungee Jumping

seriously always good to get the spelling right and happy to be corrected, on it being my first jump I figure why not go in at the deep end, and as its my 30th I might as well have one last shot at immaturity!

The correct spelling is actually "la diga di Contra" (the Contra Dam), which is the official name.

The Verzasca Dam is what it is commenly reffered to, but isn't actually the name.

When the cord snaps, otherwise you do return, more or less.

The feeling of looking down below, from the platform and the balcony is completely different. When you are up there, with the wind whistling in your ears, and your life flashes before your eyes, you will be wondering why on earth you paid 225 chuffs (I cant remember now) to have the sh!t scared out of you. My excuse was "mid life crisis".

Good luck though.
