What to do in Berne (With a 10 mth old baby)

My husband and I will be travelling to Switzerland next week as I have a job interview in Berne.

I will be going to several meetings while we are there, so there will be a number of times where my husband will be left to wander around Berne with our 10 month old baby.

Can anyone suggest things that he could do to keep the baby occupied or suitable places to chill out with an overtired wee one?

Go to the Tierpark in Dalholzli or go and see the bears at the Barengraben. Less animal-orientated, take the funicular up to the Gurten, great place to take a wee'un for a walk.

What about the Rosengarten? Nice view of the city and it has a playground.

And where would one find parent rooms, for nappy changes and the like?

The Tierpark has toilets with baby facilities, IIRC.

..... as do many public facilities and large stores, including some fast food chains (often together with disabled toilet).
