need some information regarding visit to titlis

hi friends
we are planning to visit mount titlis this weekend
if anybody visited earlier ,please help me like

what are the activities in summer over there?

we possess GA Card- how much we need to spend apart from this?

Is it possible to cover the entire tour in a single day.

thank you

You can definitely do it in a day. Try to leave Zurich by 10 though. The train to Luzern is about an hour, and then you go to the far end of the station (extreme right if you stand with your back to the train platforms) for the train to Engleberg - check the timetable - then it is a 10 min walk from Engelberg train station to the base cable car. If the snow park is open you might spend most of your time snow tubing or sledging, and the walk into the glacier is maybe 10 -15 mins. You can have lunch up there, and do it all in reverse and be back in Zurich by 6 pm.

Have a great time - I do like visiting there.

You can do it in a day, it's quite a long day, but comfortable...

And take cold-weather clothing. It's pretty sad to pay all the money to get to the top and find that you are under-dressed and uncomfortable.

Check the weather / webcam before you go up - we went in summer and it was about 20 degrees in Engelberg (bottom of the lift) and a gorgeous sunny 2 degrees at the top!

According to the pricing schedule, it should be half price for GA cards.

- so around 50chf per adult with the GA. That sounds about right.

My suggestion would be to check with the SBB / Train office and ask them if there are any special deals going - sometimes they give a discount on the ticket with your train or maybe a lunch voucher or other 'freebie' and you can get these with GA too...

There is also the Ice Flyer across the glacier. Make sure that you are wrapped up warm if got go on this.

If you have time, make a stop on the way down to walk around the Trubsee lake and see the wildflower trail
