5 day trips in 5 days - Suggestions please!

We will be booking a chalet in switzerland in the coming 2-3 days for our stay in first week of september.
Location is not finalized, but it will be a ski village, because only ski villages have chalets available due to summer rush!

So that will be our base. The area we are zeroing on is
1. Valais/Grisson border
2. Bernese Oberland
3. Very north ticino

I was planning 5 day trips and here is what I think would be great, anything more you can add.

We are coming from India, and do not mind driving curvy narrow mountain roads, at the same time, we want some time to soak it all in, so it should be little rushed, not very rushed.

If we can wrap up in 4 day trips, it will be great, because on the 5th day we will go again to the place we liked best.

So please pour in your suggestions!

Things we must do
1. Go to Jungfurao using the super saver early morning trail. I am told, if I do not take it from interlaken, but from a station nearer to jungfurao, it will be even cheaper? This means we have to return by noon. Good, because it gives us rest of the day
2. Zermatt and Matterhorn - I guess, if we do one way cable car, and other way down, its going to take a full day, so we can probably include a drive around that
3. Lauterbrennen - Waterfall walks, I think half day should be good?
4. LAke walk trail around arosa - Its 15kms, but thinking of a 2-3kms circuit which does maybe 2-3 of the lakes?
5. Furka-Susten-Grimsel pass circuit (2 hours by car + drive around Thun, and round trip from Lucerne? Long 4-5 hours of driving with some local sight seeing?

Day trips which show us
Glaciers,
Alpine meadows with cows(willing to drive on narrow country roads)
Alpine lakes(without towns on the side) - do not mid 2-3kms walk, but lesser walk the better

Would also try to visit St. bernard pass, if they still keep the bernards there.

If some of you can tell me some of the most scenic car accessible places in switzerland, it will be great, and will help us a lot to choose the ideal place!

PS:We are travelling by car because we are covering some southern Austria also, which is not very well connected and overall car was coming out to be cheaper than passes etc., for rail system in Europe(for 2 people). Moreover, it will give us lot of flexibility in time. Still we will splurge on one or two great (cable car/cog wheel ride) public transport attractions.

Firstly, you will need to decide on your base location.

The ideas that you have mentioned are all likely to take longer than you have allowed.

On my first trip to Switzerland, I planned a very full itinerary. As a result, I missed out on seeing some of the places properly.

Check some of the journey times in advance:

Trains or Google maps for road

Thanks for the advice.
Earlier I was looking at either Graubunder, bernese oberland or Valais or north ticono for stay, but it was confusing.

Then I thought about the places and glaciers.
For us it makes a lot of sense to stay either in valais or bernese oberland.

And now the dilemms.
We can stay for cheaper in blatten, than grindelwald, however, it would mean walking up at 3am, and starting the drive to grindelwald(177kms) at 4am, so that we can catch the "good morning" Jungfrau ticket. I am told it will cost about 80 EU/person?

If we do stay in Grinderwald, our drives to the high alpine lakes etc., will involve a lot of driving. Valais has a much larger number of short walk+drive glaciers and lakes, and overall, valais seem to be more "car friendly" with delightful country roads.

Blatten does seem to be the most scenic of the lot, however other stay suggestions are welcome too!

Blatten would give you a good range of options. If you wanted to go to Jungfraujoch I suggest taking the train from Brig. This would allow you to have a bit of a sleep on the way. It is less than 2 hours on the train to Grindelwald.

If you have a Swiss Pass it will give you a 25% discount on the Jungfrau railway as well.

Since we are having a car, and doing other parts of europe, we will limit our train rides to minimal.
Ideally, Andermatt area would have been the best from a central location POV, but lets see. where do we finally stay.
Can you suggest the most scenic car accessible villages in north-east valais.

Re: 5 day trips in 5 days - Suggestions please!

Our final booking is done.
We will be in Lauterbrennen area.

We will have full 5 days, some days I planned
1. Take good morning ticket to Jungfrau.
While coming back, do we have to be back to lauterbrunnen by noon, or we can just take the train back till some intermedite station from Jungfrau, so some hike, and then catch the train to lauterbrennen?
2. Take the car to tasch, take train to zermatt, go hiking to see matterhorn, walk back to tasch, and drive back to lauterbrunnen
3. Trip to a lake area with some high alpine lakes (some hiking)
4. Trip to southern valais and see the st. bernard hospice. Do they still have the dogs there? While coming back do the simplon pass, and then take the old gotthard road to get back to lauterbrennen. If possible see the glacier at the dam in Val-de herence etc.,?
5. Buffer day
6. Drive to salzburg after seeing Rhine falls. Starting early from Lauterbrunnen, we should be at the falls by 10am, and by noon we intend to finish our boat ride, and then drive to salzburg through german autobahn.
