Zugerberg and Rigi

Hi all,

2 questions. 1 about Rigi, the other about Zugerberg.

1) Rigi - Is it possible to get to the top of Rigi by walking or bike? If so, has anzone done it, is it worthwhile and roughtly how long (by walk and bike) did it take? I assume as there's a "little" mast on top, there must be some kind of road to the top for service vehicles, hence the thought of biking up it.

2) Zugerberg - Having taken the beautiful drive up to Zugerberg again, I notive that directly outisde the cable car ticket office is a notice board and a direction sign (see attached photo). Do the signs that read "2 std - 45mins" refer to a route shown on the notice board and the approx time to follow said route, or something else?

Thanks in advance.

Alex.

1. Yes, big antenna, 1000'nds of people walk / mountain bike up there. A degree of fitness would be required, suggest you try zugerberg first.
2. Thats the time it would take for a Swiss Great Grand mother to walk to the destination following the Wanderweg route (yellow signs) which are placed at various points along the entire route.
