Re: Best place to sledge around zurich ?

I take it a sledge is not like a sledge hammer, but more like a sled or sledding? So you mean a snow sled or taboggan run, I got it. Had to look that one up never heard it before. Austria has some very good ones at night in Montafon Silveretta Nova near Schruns. About an hour and 45 mins from Zurich. They rent sledges.

At the risk of being a killjoy, enjoy but take care. Sledging is more dangerous than skiing. In maybe 6 sledging trips I've been with people who have broken ribs, coccyx and in one case their neck, let alone days of soreness from using muscles they'd forgotten they had.
Christ on a stick. Remind me never to go sledging with you!

Agreed though, sledging can be very dangerous.

It's not the sledding that hurts (as I understand, Krazy Karpets haven't made it over here), it's the trees that get ya!

weatherPro seems to disagree. If you want to go, better take something with wheels - it will be a mud-fest at most.
;-)
