Half-day plane trip to Lugano - Wed March 14th

For the sightseeing - spotter - plane buffs: we're flying to Lugano this Wednesday (afternoon) to pick up a plane that got stranded there yesterday due to strong northerly winds.

I'm flying the pick-up crew there and return on my own, so there's one seat available for the roundtrip (or up to three if you join in Lugano...)

Re: Half-day plane trip to Lugano - Wed March 14th

Thats a great offer and if i did not have a day job, lived in your area, and was a planespotter I would bite your arm off.

I do not get the feeling that your day job is a pilot though, so how do you come by this assignment, and what aircraft type will you be flying?

really classy offer though... applause.

Tomorrow a Piper 28-236 and we bring back a DA-40D

On your way back from Lugano, would you mind buzzing Lost_inbroad in Olten?
He's out in the sticks so you can get nice 'n' low on the approach, then 'full throttle up' on the climb.

Boom!

Nothing like an american big-iron-big-bore flat-six with the prop blade tips going supersonic to get your attention ... but i'm afraid he's going to report me to the noise polizei.

Love the look of those Diamond's. Smitten by the DA42. May have to wait until wife gets her MBA though. Would love to have a ride in the Piaggio Avanti that I see fly in here all the time.

The 42 is such an incredible waste of potential. For that kind of money you can buy a go-really-stinkin-fast sled like say a Mooney. Now, if the Diamond had 50HP extra per side...
