Mont Blanc Two Day Trip

hello all,

Does anybody know how much it costs to stay in the Gouter Hut? How much is it for a guide to take you to the peak? I have had look online and some of the prices are astronomical. Does anyone know of a good local guide that I can contact?

Thanks
GB

Re: Mont Blanc Two Day Trip

Hi,
as far as I know, guides take no more than 2 people (it makes sense, either you want safety and pay, or risk your life over few bucks). Even most experienced guide will not save 5 people falling at the same time on glacier.
Local guides ARE the guides taking up the people usually
But it would be interesting to know if there are reliable services being offered below official prices. We are also planning trip there in beginning of july
