Breitling SuperConstellation and Jet team visit 4th and 11th August - Geneva

Not sure where to put this, so....

A friend sent me this info, as I'm a fan of the Super constellation plane. sadly I'm already busy on that date, but if somebody can be interested...

Breitling Lakefront flypast

Super Constellation - Saturday 4 August, 4 pm

On 4 August, between 4 and 4:15 pm, come and thrill to the lowaltitude flypast of the most graceful propeller plane ever built,
the Super Constellation. Considered by experts to be the largest
and most elegant transatlantic planes of its era, as well as one of
the fastest and most comfortable, the Connie was created in the
1950s but soon had to move aside for faster jets arriving on the
scene. After being absent for 25 years, this legendary plane can
today relive its former glory thanks to Breitling and the goodwill
of a group of passionate Swiss enthusiasts. Over the last few
years, the aircraft has been through an ambitious renovation
programme, made possible both by generous donations and
the active sponsorship of Breitling, the famous watchmakers

Breitling Jet Team Visit

Saturday 11 August, 3:45 pm

To mark the opening of the Fireworks Night with appropriate scale and majesty, the Lakefront will also play host to the
Breitling Jet Team, performing a highly skilled flying display,
on Saturday 11 August between 3:45 and 4:15 pm. Formed ten
years ago, the largest civilian aerobatic jet display team is
absolutely unique and well known for its incredible shows
all over the world.
It is the second time that the Geneva Festival has the pleasure of welcoming this prestigious team. Due to the proximity of Geneva Airport and ever-increasing air traffic, the
Breitling patrol will perform an abridged version of the show
that loses nothing of its grace or elegance. The spectacular
figures performed by these planes, silhouetted against the
Lakefront sky, as well as their grand finale, promise to send
a shiver down your spine. A huge thanks to the Breitling Jet
Team, Skyguide SA, Geneva Airport and the Federal Office for
Civil Aviation of Switzerland for making this display possible
in such a special setting.
So on 11 August, at 3:45 pm, turn your gaze to the skies: the
Geneva Festival is happening up there too!
