My husband and I, and our 1 year old son, are looking for a ski chalet for the winter season of 2012/2013. We live in Lausanne and are looking for something that is about an hour to an hour and half away driving time. We ideally would like to be close to a ski slope (walking distance in/out) and a nearby village center to buy food. Ideally, we are looking for a place to get away and relax and have fun in the snow and ski!

Can anyone recommend a website or an agency that we can work with to find a chalet?

You can also decide where you would like to go and then contact the local tourist office. They will pretty much all have a list of rental properties.

Or you can look on the village's website and they may have lists of agencies (like this example in Nendaz)
