Falera area near Laax?

We had some Freedreams to use up and have booked 3 nights in Falera. Would really appreciate any advice on the best things to do/visit in the area. Thanks all.

When is it booked for? If soon, then you are lucky, especially if the weather stays so nice and warm. There are 2 lovely lakes: Caumesee and Crestasee for swimming. In the winter, Laax is supposed to be great for skiing.

The Caumasee is beautiful... just hope it's still warm enough for a splash!

Crestasee is a little smaller, but nice too.

Re: Falera area near Laax?

Thanks all - we had a great time, staying at La Siala Hotel. Excellent food and service, fabulous views. Took the chairs and cable car from Laax, and had a great walk from there in lovely sunshine. And a great drive to Chur, then return by the magnificent wild drive to Ilanz. Over to Disentis and the Oberalp pass today, sadly in pouring rain.

Glad you had a great time - A few years ago I won a holiday in Disentis and I remember visiting the local church which had really disturbing images on the walls - I discovered that these images were of poor souls who had lost their lives on the road there - those images remained with me for a long time - they were very moving..
