The best of Switzerland

Lets define ONE PLACE, that you liked the most while traveling in Switzerland. I know, it is hard to choose among so many interesting and amazing things, but lets try.

For me it is Jungfraujoch.

Re: The best of Switzerland

There's a KFC in nearby Mulhouse which seems to be an enormously attractive destination.

Re: The best of Switzerland

OK, I will take a stab.

Rheinfalls, SH very close to Zürich - never fails to take my breathe away each time I pass through it, often making an impromptu stop at Neuhausen am Rheinfall.

Re: The best of Switzerland

Sorry. I can't name the best place in Switzerland. But I can name the best thing in Switzerland -- it's the famous Swiss sense-of-humour.

I am going to give it up for Ticino and go with Mt. Cimetta - a peaceful spot up above Locarno with a great view of the lake and the towns below.

Re: The best of Switzerland

Are we supposed to choose between a man made city, or a natural water fall?

If you are on top of the Gornergrat, the views are not of the Gornergrat are they? They are of the surrounding Alps, n'est ce pas?
