Re: Romance is not dead

Les Nids is wonderful! Very upscale treehouses! Now if you'd like a downscaled version with a bit more room I can highly recommend http://www.campingsaignelegier.ch/

Great place, the owners are super friendly and tons of peaceful trees with a lake 10 minutes walk away from the camp that is perfect for a picnic.

Translation: The Vuilleumier family welcomes tourists heartily in its woody kingdom, near Le Locle in Canton Neuchatel. The 'Nuthatch', the 'Bluetit' ... bird names for each of the tree huts they rent by the night or the week. Their 'nests' as they call them, are cosy but small, with beds for 2 people. Perfect for a couple wanting 'pure sensations' (ahaha whatever that means). Prices: from 120CHFF to 240CHF per night ...

Is this an indoor place?? It better be heated - I live in this area and would absolutely not recommend outdoor sleeping for a romantic weekend in October brrr!!! You could wake up covered in snow

Re: Romance is not dead

Les Nids had little fireplaces (swedish ovens I think they are called) and are fully insulated where as Saignelégier has a gas heater and is not insulated (hence why they are open from May until Oct).
