Leukerbad - good for all ages?

Hello Forum,

I am planning a weekend of Swiss enjoyment for a female friend of mine who is visiting this weekend. One of the things I've never done since I moved here was try out the thermal spas in Leukerbad, and there's the added bonus that SBB are running an offer this month. Has anyone on the forum been there and can they comment on the clientele - is type of resort frequented mostly by elderly people? It is not an ageist thing at all, just to head off any knee-jerk reactionaries there may be out there (this is the internet after all), it's just that I would like to ensure that I'm booking something where we won't be made to feel out of place because of our age - we're in our 20s.

Much obliged forum :-)

Re: Leukerbad - good for all ages?

Leukerbad is fine for all ages, as discussed in this thread:

Any ideas for a family wellness weekend?

for (young) ladies as you I would recommend the Linder Alpentherme, very chic with excellent services.
and the Clarins Beauty Parlour is miraculous.

just for swimming in hot water the big Burger therme is really for everyone from families to singles, but lots of young people too.
