Art Exhibition in Gruyeres

Last Saturday my wife and I went on a day trip to Gruyeres Village. We had been to that beautiful place a couple of times before and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting it every time.

We also discovered that there was a temporary exhibition of works of the Polish surrealist artist Franciszek Starowieyski at Gallery of the H R Giger Museum, which is located in the village on the approach to the Gruyere Castle.

Those of you who like the style of works of H R Giger (the prominent Swiss surrealist artist, who produced the artworks for such films as Alien, Species, Dune, Batman Forever, etc.) might enjoy visiting the exhibition of Franciszek Starowieyski too.

The exibition has been open since June 2012 but it is due to finish this spring (the exact date is not known).
