Switzerland is famous for it's one and only bear. It's often rare to see and find, but it is located in Graubünden.
It has been named M13, and is tracked to see where it goes.
Definitely a must see whilst here............oh, wait a minute, you can't see it now | The following 3 users would like to thank JBZ86 for this useful post: | | The following 2 users groan at JBZ86 for this post:

I always like to see where the crap goes.
There aren't any T-shirts or mugs at the gift shop, but you'll enjoy an inside view into what the Swiss really like to eat and drink: Waste Management | This user would like to thank Assassin for this useful post:

| | Re: Please suggest must see places in Switzerland Arosa - quaint mountain town.
In the winter (if there is lots of snow) the train ride up from Chur is wonderful. Lots of frozen waterfalls and a really cool/scary bridge.
Also its nice in the summer, it looks very different, but still very nice.
cheers

LOVE AROSA!
It is where I learned to Ski, so will always be close to my heart haha, but the train ride and bridge and scenery are all very nice as you say.

Visit the old city in Bern sometime. And see the (still living) bears. | This user would like to thank 3Wishes for this useful post:

If I had just one day in Switzerland, I would visit Lucerne for the old city, dying lion monument/glacier garden and the Bourbaki Panorama.
For a weekend trip I would extend my Lucerne trip to include the Mt. Pilatus round trip: lake, railway & cable car, or if the weather was bad, the Transport Museum.
An alternative weekend trip would be Chur/Arosa and the Bernina Express.

Going out in Zurich is also recommendable!
Check out http://zuerich.usgang.ch/events.php (it's on German though. But shouldn't be a huge problem to determine the music genre and location)

Luzern is a must for sure. The most beautiful city in CH from my point of view.
You would also love the Lauterbrunnen area. While there you can visit Trummelbach falls and Piz Gloria.
Also of course the national pride and joy: Zermatt and its Matterhorn.
Enjoy! It's a beautiful country!

Lavaux, especially if you love white wine. Stunning in autumn (foliage). http://www.lavaux.ch/SRC/2010/index.html |

And if you love hiking or have young children, check out the Col du Petit st Bernard in the summer. The kids can pat the famous St. Bernard dogs there, and there are plenty of trails.

It's got to be AARGAU!
Wildegg
Döttingen
Rheinfelden
Holderbank
Spreitenbach
Aargau - for when you've had quite enough of the rest of Switzerland.

I really love Luzern, but am afraid I haven't yet explored all that much to give other ideas. Look forward to start ticking things off the list. Perhaps I will move Arosa to the top, sounds fab!

Honest
I just wanted to break up the (very well-deserved) love-fest for Luzern, Graubünden, Grindelwald and Zermatt |
