Swiss Trip

Hi Guys,

Me and two friends are traveling from Germany to Switzerland by car, we are arriving early on Thur 28th March and leaving early on Mon 1st April. I'm building an itinerary for those days and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations based on the following:

- We're all 27 and physically fit.

- Money isn't too much of a problem, nothing ultra ridiculous though

- We are looking for hard activity in the day with very scenic views, then party in the evening

- We have snow capable tents and good sleeping bags to suit up to -18c.

- We have a car, we can travel anywhere in Switzerland and have snow chains.

- We have snow shoes, harasses, rope, ice axes, crampons and poles.

- We are interested in the following:

Hiking
Glacier Walking
Ski (only beginner skiing with hire gear)
Extreme sports
Sight Seeing

Areas that im intersted in so far are the Aletsch Glacier, Grindelwald area and Zermatt (Matterhorn).

I think that establishes the idea...absolute freedom to do anything I'm looking for what you would do with the same freedom, any help is much appreciated.

- Dan.

Re: Swiss Trip

you forgot the most important - do you have money?

Are you looking to camp out? Not sure what is allowed here, hopefully others will be along soon with better info. Have you looked up the Swiss Alpine Club website for the possibility of staying in a Hütte?

Edited to reflect the fact that money doesn't matter too much, im not looking for gold plated toilet seats though...more roughing it in style I'll check the SAC huts now, although what I'm looking for is a recommendation for an amazing hike (from-to) and a hut stay.

So far im interested in the Aletsch Glacier and hiking near Grindelwald and Zermatt.
