Ski-ing with three children

I am just trying to book a ski trip, but most of the offers are for two adults and two children. We have three children and are on a budget. Any suggestions as to where we can look, CH or Austria would be our preference.

Re: Ski-ing with three children

Hi, we are are going to book an apartment. They often have quite a few beds, for example, up to six or seven beds. We prefer this to a hotel as it means we can cook (cheaper than eating out every night!) and gives us a bit more freedom. Most resorts will have apartments like this. If you go to the tourist info site for the areas you like, they should have links to accommodation and you can choose to do a search just for apartments and for the number of beds you want. We are also looking at resorts that have some sort of childcare for the mornings.

Re: Ski-ing with three children

We got the same problem, and are currently searching here for something last minute for the impending Sportwoche......

if you click on the red bar 'alle angebote' you can add the ages of your children and you can choose regions of Austria or Switzerland and see immediately if something is still free, the prices etc etc we haven't booked yet, but we will almost certainly try to get something in the Valais.

If you are on a tight income/budget you might qualify for the REKA family holidays

Re: Ski-ing with three children

We had the same idea last night, and found and booked on the same night a Pension for our family of 5 (3 kids) for 3,000 for the week. Breakfast and dinner included.

I thought the price was reasonable, considering food is included, and that we booked last minute.
