Help locating places in Switzerland

Hi,
I was trying to get some assistance locating a few places in Switzerland via some photos I found online.

Here's the first one:
http://images.gadmin.st.s3.amazonaws...day-zurich.jpg

I know this is Zurich, but I always see this iconic photo of the city's skyline and wonder from what vantage point this picture is most likely taken from. Is it from a hilltop? From the top of some building? Just wondering where you think the person was when they captured this magnificent view.

Here's the second one:
http://www.lstyres.com/wp-content/up...-wallpaper.jpg

I have no idea where this is, but would like to visit. Any clues?

Thanks for reading.

This one is probably taken from the top of the tower at the Jules Verne Restaurant.

EDIT: Just seen from the other thread that it's possible the Marriott.

Re: Help locating places in Switzerland

Hello again,
I was hoping I could resurrect this thread to find help locating one more place. Does anyone know where around Lake Lucerne this photo was taken?

Thank you again for reading

Lindenhof is the little group of trees on the left of the Landesmuseum tower, right in front of the steeples of St. Peter and Fraumünster.

However, the OP asked about the location of the camera, and that's somewhere near the top of the Marriott Hotel. To see the lake and the RR main station from the Lindenhof, you'd have to build a tower, and to get them both on the same photo, you'd need a camera with a viewing angle > 180°.

Yes, it's definitely up there somewhere above Weggis. Kaltbad or somewhere just below it.
