I already booked mine. I was up early this morning to get what I wanted because I thought the popular routes would sell out quickly.

Booking dates 21-22 Feb. Looks like in most cases the travel period is from 21 Feb through 30 June. There are some exceptions, though so read carefully before booking.

Thanks!

Please note:

The same offers apply through 3rd parties.
I just paid EUR 148,67 at Expedia.de for the exact same flight that Swiss.com asks CHF 188,90 + CHF 22 (credit card fees!) for.

Helpful but ...you're not comparing apples with apples here. This is a sale for 119 CHF return trip to 50 different European cities. The credit card fee you've mentioned is for destinations outside of Europe. The fee in Europe is "only" 11 Francs. Also your quoted price is higher than the 119+11 Francs so not actually cheaper.

However, it is always a good idea to compare different websites to see which has the best deal including fees/luggage/etc.

SWISS does sales from time to time, but I'd say ones this nice are not very common.

I guess you haven't even searched for flights. The CHF 119 only applies when both the departure and arrival date / time are the cheapest fare. In most combinations this is not the case. Unless you want to fly at 7 in the morning.

I guess there were a limited number of seats at the special prices and obviously the best times were snapped up first. Not rocket science really.

I was on there first thing yesterday morning and booked my tickets for 3 of us to go to where I wanted to go and when I wanted to go for 119chf each so I'm happy. These are during the the school Easter holidays and neither of them are at stupid times. The return is at 9.30 and ideally I would have preferred it a bit later but at that price I can live with that.
The early bird catches the worm and all that.

Sure, just wanted to confirm I was actually comparing apples with apples. Even if the price would be CHF 119, then this would also be the case on Expedia.de etc.
I actually always try to avoid using Swiss.com directly, as I always pay less when booking through a 3rd party (in most cases due to the crazy CHF 30 "service fee" Swiss adds on top when booking through their own website).

I did several searches, but maybe the dates I was looking at were less popular. All the flights I looked up had the cheaper fare available at "reasonable" times to fly. But this is a good reminder - the promotion only says "from 119" so yes, if the good seats are all gone you may well be better off going with a different booking route.

Well I compared prices on Expedia and Easyjet before booking mine and the very cheapest fare I could get for the same dates was over a hundred francs per ticket more expensive. Swiss were still the cheapest on Expedia but not as cheap as the offer price when booking directly with them for exactly the same flights.

Guess it depends where you're going and when. The offer must not have been available for my flights via Expedia otherwise it would have come up when I did my search.

Re: SWISS tickets at 119 CHF, 48h only, European cities

I booked 3 separate weekend trips in June - Amsterdam, Rome, Brussels. All of the outbound flights are when I want them i.e. after work on Friday (Thursday in case of Rome, but there's so much to do). Return flights I've had to be a bit more flexible. My preference would have been to return Sunday evening, but as they weren't available at such a bargain price - Brussels is a Sunday morning return. Not ideal but I can live with it. The other two are the first flight on the Monday morning. I'll land in time to get to work and get to spend more time in the cities.

So not really seeing how there aren't weekend flights to desirable locations available at CHF 119. The only other place I was considering, but couldn't get anything decent was Lisbon. I would also have liked to have seen Dublin offered.

Re: SWISS tickets at 119 CHF, 48h only, European cities

Thanks for the heads up. ....
I booked two trips. One to Copenhagen ( tomorrow) and one for Athens in April. Greece is so depressed right now that I got a 4 star ( the nearly 500 reviews were averaged very good) hotel for near 70 usd/ night. Tax, etc included....(Hotel Lotus). The hotel and flight were not arranged together by the same Internet site. I was amazed at how 'relatively' inexpensive Athens is right now.
Again thanks for the heads up......I probably would not have booked these get aways, if not seeing this post.

Re: SWISS tickets at 119 CHF, 48h only, European cities

Booked 2 weekend flights no problem leaving on a Friday after work and returning on a Sunday evening, plus one of the long weekends. Many Sundays were blocked in grey but some were available when you clicked on them. This was really annoying The website was a total PITA and kept timing out and they now charge for credit card bookings so had to dig out all the post finance info.
