Cherry blossom

We want to see cheery blossom and we are looking in zug area and basel land.
Is it too early to go today (april 1,17)
Anyone in this area please give me an idea.

I assume you mean cherry (not cheery) blossoms? If so, head toward St Panteleon in BL. You can get there via train/bus, or just drive and the walk around.

I do not know the current status of this year's blooms. This photo was taken on May 1st a few years ago.

I think it's still a bit early. The trees in our garden 20km west of Basel are in bud and with new leaf growth, but at least a couple of weeks away from being in full blossom.

Agreed that it is too early. The pears in the allotment are in full-flower, but the apples are barely started. Cherry trees are generally later than this time of year.
