well that's from a report in Tages Anzeiger ( fake news ?
)
As I said, I'm speaking from my own experience and impressions. I guess in the same way as anyone would, including the journo.

Well thats Zürich superficiality. Sad! Alot of young people with a not so athletic body dont go bathing because of this body culture from the young. If you dont have a six pack you are out.
Sick
Thats absolute bullsh*t, plenty of people go bathing that are just regular bodied people. The difference is that in Switzerland, unlike in many other countries, the general standard of physique is higher because it's a healthy living country. People are just pretty fit and slim in general. The UK is 10x more obsessed with working out and body 'peacocking', it's turned into a phenomenon. In comparison, the Swiss don't really give a shit and are probably some of the least overtly judgemental people I have ever met.

When you make all of these crazy blanket statements it just gives the impression that you are one incredibly insecure, bitter and socially awkward person.

Ever been there?

There are pilgrimages to the gay pasture (a pickup-place to be more specific) and everybody knows about it.

No problem if you want to sit there, though.

It has been like that for decades and it is totally accepted.
Probably, if it's been there for decades as I used to live in Kreis 8 ages ago.

Well he never said that but its a common stupid association from ignorant people. Not meaning you.

There are many " sections". The gay section, the normal section, the family section, the sport/young people section, the FKK. All non official except for FKK. No problem sitting there except for the stupid " are you " goggles from the gays!
Wonder what the "normal section" is. LOL.
"Are you" goggles? According to my gay friends they always know immediately. Which they proved when telling me "no curley, you're not interested in him"

However, I never really liked "Badis", I prefer to swim off-beaches or what ever one would call it. Or we climbed over the Badi-fences at nights.

You did an UK test to fit Swiss society?
Let me guess, for the stranger in the elevator question you checked <<Inquire enthusiastically about their life outside work>>

I'd say that test would fit quite well into Swiss society too. No glaring differences that I could see.

If there are, as you seem to think, please educate us unworthies.

Nothing to do with specific streets - it's when you walk one way along a street and then realise you should have been walking the other way (back to work rather than to the bus).

Some people suffer so much embarrassment in these kind of situations (and think everyone is watching them) that they can't just turn around and walk the other way but have to go right around the block, or something similar.

Not sure why Curley thinks that the all the Swiss are so special and there can't be any that suffer in this way. It's not as if no Swiss have autism, for example.
