Google already rates it as 5 stars. And it hasn’t even opened yet.

Is it worth going? Even for us, not chocolate lovers?

I found the process & history interesting, there's a sampling at the end of the tour so perhaps that aspect would interest you less. Not a fan of Cailler in general so my expectations were low but I liked it

Lindt on the other hand, my favorite large scale chocolate manufacturer so would be very curious - especially the sampling

I like tasting in general, so I'll survive the sampling bit. My fav when we actually do get chocolate is Laderach. Cailler is closer to here, right, than Kilchberg?

Jelly Bean factory was the best. And 5kg subpar quality bean bags

Fairfield, CA. A bit inconvenient. But the tasting was awesome and they gave us hats.

I should have added a suggestion. If you are interested in going this year, with a family, especially on a weekend etc., I would suggest you book NOW.

Re: Lindt opens new Chocolate Museum 13.09.2020

It's about time Lindt came up with this. The "experience" they sold at the transport museum was okay in terms of education but we were rather disappointed to pay so much for a ticket and then get exactly one piece of chocolate to taste. Riding around in the automated cars was fun for kids, but there wasn't anything interactive. That was a few years ago, not sure how it is now.

Callier was more fun and interactive, so maybe Lindt learned from them.
